About Lost and Found Co. Guide

CHECKED 2026-11-02 · Guide

Lost and Found Co. Guide is an independent fan site about Lost and Found Co., a hidden object game by Bit Egg Inc. It is written and maintained by one person, it is not affiliated with Bit Egg or Gamirror Games, and it is not an official source.

What this site tries to do

Most hidden object guides are either a list of screenshots or a wiki with one line per object. Neither is much help when a stage is stuck at 90% and the To Do list will not tell you why. This site takes the other approach: explain the systems, then apply them to the stages people actually search for.

That means three kinds of pages:

  • Systems pages — Juju, side quests, objective types, the Kit Shop — that explain how the game works rather than where a single object is.
  • Stage pages — four requests with full walkthroughs, plus targeted pages for the sock hunt and the hidden mandrake.
  • Data pages — the achievement table, the level count, the patch timeline, the system requirements — where the value is a number you can check rather than an opinion.

Where the information comes from

Everything on the site is sourced from one of five places:

SourceWhat it provides
Steam store and app detailsPrice, platforms, languages, system requirements, screenshots
Official Steam announcementsPatch notes, seasonal updates, collab details, sales
Steam global achievement statsCompletion percentages for all 31 stages
The studio's 100-day infographicAverage playtime, hardest items, Kit Shop sales, Juju spent
Steam forum threadsPlayer-reported locations for specific objects

The last one is labelled as player-reported wherever it appears. When the game does not publish a number — how many socks sit in a house, how many Juju a stage contains — the site gives the reported spots and the in-game way to check your own progress rather than inventing a total.

What it does not do

  • It does not copy text from other guide sites. Competing pages are read to work out which questions people are asking, never to source an answer.
  • It does not publish a walkthrough for a stage it cannot describe accurately. Four stages have full pages; the rest are covered through the systems that apply to them.
  • It does not claim to have played anything it has not. There is no "we tested this" language anywhere on the site, because the guide is built from published material rather than from a private playthrough.

Images

All screenshots are official promotional material from the game's Steam page and Steam announcements, used for identification and commentary. They remain the property of Bit Egg Inc. The site icon is derived from the game's official capsule art. If you are a rights holder and want an image removed, the contact page has the address.

Corrections

The game has shipped twelve builds since launch, and any guide to a live game goes stale. Pages carry a checked date; if something no longer matches the game, send the page URL and what changed. Corrections are applied to the page and the checked date is updated.

Technical

The site is static HTML with a single stylesheet and one small script for the image lightbox. There is no account system, no comment section and no user-generated content. Analytics and advertising are described on the privacy page.
